Instructional Design & Knowledge Management

Building Learning That Lives Beyond the Course

Behind every great learning experience is a strategy—one that balances clarity, culture, and continuous growth. In this body of work, I designed accessible, measurable learning rooted in adult learning theory and grounded in the real challenges of modern organizations. From revamping core compliance programs to guiding DEIA conversations to translating SME expertise into tools anyone could use, I applied instructional design thinking to every layer of the learning journey.

But my work doesn’t stop at content delivery. I also built knowledge-sharing ecosystems that helped learning stick—long after the webinar ended or the LMS was closed. Through UX-minded onboarding kits, searchable SharePoint repositories, and data-informed training strategies, I ensured that institutional wisdom wasn’t just stored—it was shared.

Whether launching training that drives behavior change or helping teams document what they know for the next generation of learners, I bring both instructional depth and operational empathy to the table.

Tracked training trends and use-rate analytics to identify knowledge gaps and launch new content formats across business units.

Scaling Knowledge Through Design

Turned team-specific expertise into repeatable learning through by building training starter kits, onboarding templates, and peer-led documentation.

Redesigning Core Learning Programs

During Fors Marsh’s LMS migration, I led the overhaul of 6 out of 10 key asynchronous training programs—revising outdated content, applying adult learning theory, and improving delivery formats. The work ranged from onboarding and DEIA to policy and compliance training.

This was done in 5 months, during the system migration. To illustrate how this was achieved, I am attaching a sample calendar/project tracking document to showcase how I might balance time and resources within a tight schedule.

Interviewer Training (Created)

This training teaches best practices on company procedures, hiring law, and interpersonal and facilitation skills for interviewing potential candidates. I led content design and creation in Articulate Rise (asynchronous content) and MS PPT/Zoom (live, quarterly Q&A). This training was created quickly to address risky interview behavior.

Using Data to Guide Learning Strategy

As the organization matured, I led a data-informed approach to prioritize new training development. I tracked LMS usage, informal SME requests, and patterns of repeat needs by different business lines to better align offerings with employee demand.

Scaling SME Knowledge Through Design

I collaborated with SMEs to capture tacit knowledge and turn it into structured, scalable learning assets—especially during onboarding and team transitions. I focused on knowledge that was frequently siloed in MS Teams folders, SharePoint, or verbal traditions.

Below I've included a sample of questions I ask stakeholders who are experts in topics I am not. These are not an exhaustive list, but they are core to helping us investigate the problem and decide what is most important to include in the final training together.
